Dr. Urman graduated with honors from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute and Albany Medical College. He completed his dermatology residency
training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt-Beth Israel Hospitals and Columbia University.
After residency he worked at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, and
has been in Private Practice and Chief of the Dermatology Clinics at St.
Vincent’s Medical Center in New York for the past 6 years. He is currently
Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he was
awarded the prestigious Teacher of the Year Award in 2009, and is also on staff
at The University Medical Center in Princeton and Beth Israel Hospital in New York, NY. He is Board Certified in
Dermatology and is an author of multiple scholarly articles and book chapters,
and has presented at national and international meetings. Dr. Urman is fluent in both English and Russian.
